Team Leaders provide support, supervision and mentoring to workers within their individual designated teams, reporting directly back to the Care Manager. Team Leaders have a wide ranging and a culturally diverse working background to bring together a variety of complimentary skills and knowledge to support both staff and services delivered by the company.
Team leaders are trained to achieve a high level of knowledge and competence. Qualifications have also been gained in Diabetes, Stroke, Parkinsons Disease, Continence Care, Epilepsy, End of Life, Challenging Behaviour, Nutrition, Dementia, Report Writing, Adult Safeguarding, Equality and Diversity, Equal Opportunities, Falls and Learning Disabilities are but to name a few in addition to other relevant training.
Our team leaders are qualified to NVQ/QCF level 3 or working towards level 3 in Health and Social Care. In addition to all mandatory training undertaken; Team Leaders may have achieved the Aspire to Inspire award for Leadership and Management which is a prestigious award specific to the care sector that was designed and developed as a joint partnership venture between the Black Country Partnership for Care and the NHS. As a customer focused company all Team Leaders are trained or working towards Customer Service QCF/NVQ level 2/3 and 5.
